What we do
A lot of engine problems don't require a shop. Misfires from worn spark plugs or failed ignition coils, sensors throwing fault codes, belts and hoses past their service life, water pumps leaking — these are jobs we handle in your driveway with the same tools a shop uses.
We're clear about what we do and don't do. External, bolt-on engine repairs are our lane. Timing chains and belts, head gaskets, valve cover jobs, and internal engine work need a lift and a controlled shop environment — and we'll tell you that directly rather than take the job and make it worse.
When we arrive, we bring compression testers, fuel pressure gauges, oscilloscopes, and OBD-II equipment to diagnose accurately before we start replacing parts. You get a clear picture of the problem before we do anything.

Can you diagnose a misfire without coming to a shop?
Yes — diagnosing a misfire is well-suited to mobile service. We bring the tools to isolate which cylinder is misfiring and why, and can replace spark plugs and ignition coils on-site.
What engine work can you do at my location?
Spark plugs, ignition coils, O2 sensors, MAF sensors, belts and hoses, water pumps, alternators, starters, and most accessible bolt-on repairs. We're upfront about what needs a shop.
What engine work can't you do mobile?
Timing chains and timing belts, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets (on most vehicles), cylinder head work, and full engine rebuilds require a shop lift and controlled environment. We'll tell you clearly if your job falls in that category.
My engine is overheating — can you help?
Yes. Don't drive it before we arrive. Overheating is commonly caused by a failed thermostat, water pump, coolant leak, or radiator issue — all things we can diagnose and often fix on-site.
What's the difference between an engine knock and a tick?
A tick (usually valve train or injector noise) is typically less urgent than a knock (often rod or main bearing). We can differentiate them on-site and tell you what it means for your specific situation.
